The History of Wabash Garage
With the early beginnings in the front half of a barn, Phil LaRue has watched his business grow from a part-time venture to a dream come true. In 1968, Wabash Garage, Inc. was founded. Starting out with car and light truck repairs as well as towing services, Wabash Garage soon grew into a new 16 bay repair shop for heavy-duty truck service and repairs.
Phil LaRue is an active member of the
Truck-Frame and Axle Repair Association (TARA) which was founded in May 1966. An independent association,
TARA members have the common goal of promoting the highest ethical standards in the repair of transportation and construction equipment.
